No Wrench Screw Anchor
A NO Screw Wrench Anchor Rod is a type of anchor rod used in Pole Line Hardware installations.
It functions by basically guying cables or wires within utility poles, which is comprised of an angle-cut tip, welded helix and an anchor rod of forged-eye. To ensure that the anchor is screwed on the ground, both the thimble eye and triple eye anchors have a rod with a wide opening to withhold the turning bar. The best thing about this anchor is that it can be power-installed because of its eye that takes part in the adapter of the hole-boring machine.
When installed, the no wrench screw anchor reduces the holding capability by about 10-20%, while this failure is to stick with 5 degrees of installation alignment with the guying mass will reduce the strength. Also, these ratings are only valid for anchors that are installed correctly.
